GENERAL QUESTIONS.
Do you provide pricing information over the phone?

Unfortunately, we do not.  We treat each order as a custom order.  Pricing is determined upon the size of each door, number of same size doors, overall size of your order, hinge holes required, handle holes required, and any specialty finishes or treatments.  Due to the complexity of this process, it is not possible for us to provide you with any pricing information over the phone. To obtain an estimate, you must complete an estimate request form available by clicking on “Door Quote” at the top of this website.
>>> top

Do I have to complete an Estimate Request Form to obtain pricing information?

Yes.  We utilize optical scanning to streamline our estimation process. This saves us time and allows you to receive your estimate in a timely manner.  We ask that you allow us up to 48 hours to process your estimate request, however, we can usually provide you a written estimate within the same day.  For this reason, all estimate request must be submitted using our approved forms (available on our website), all estimates must be signed and dated, unsigned estimates will not be processed.

We do not mark up shipping costs, therefore the discounted cost that we get from shipping companies we pass on to you.

How should I measure in order to replace my existing cabinet doors? Do I provide the actual door size or frame opening measurement?

Please provide the exact measurements for the door size that you require and specify hinge type and hinge hole position if drilling is required.  If you are uncertain about the measurements, we recommend consulting a professional cabinet maker in your local area.

How can I determine whether I have European Frameless or American Framed cabinet boxes?

Ask yourself this question: When all cabinet doors are closed, what are the gaps between doors?
If there is a wide gap of at least 0.5" or larger” between each door, you generally have American Framed cabinet boxes.
If there is a small gap of 0.125” to 0.25” between each door and there is no visible frame around the doors while the doors are closed, you generally have European Frameless cabinet boxes.

>>> top

How do I measure to replace frameless cabinet doors?
To replace frameless cabinet doors, the best thing to do is to measure the existing doors - round down to the nearest 1/8" increment.
- For a ONE door cabinet: measure the outside width of cabinet box and reduce by 1/8"
- For a TWO door cabinet: measure the outside width of cabinet and reduce by 1/4" and divide by two.

If you are uncertain about how to measure, or if your measurements are correct, we recommend consulting a professional cabinet maker in your local area

Is there a recommended type of cleaner for high gloss slab doors?
Use a soft, absorbent cloth dampened with lukewarm water to wipe off dust and fingerprints.  For grease or other difficult stains, use mild hand soap.  Never use abrasive cleaners, furniture polish, or cleaners that leave a buildup of film on the surface.  Never scrub or polish an area too much as this may result in a “shine area” development.  No ammoniated products such as glass cleaner should be used.
>>> top

What is your manufacturing process?
Our high gloss slab doors are manufactured, in most instances, using the following procedure: (note: some customer colors will require additional procedures)
First, each melamine-backed door face is coated with three coats of primer, applied in most cases by a Superfici Finishing Line. If the door is painted on both sides, two coats of primer are applied to the back surface.
Second, the doors are dried through inline ovens, or baked for two hours in a free standing oven, and sanded between paint applications.
Then, each door is finished with a coat of enamel to its face and back and baked for at least four hours.  To achieve the high gloss finish, each door is coated with three U/V base coats; each door is then sanded and three top coats of Polyurethane is applied.
Finally, each door is then baked for a minimum of 8 hours.
